This is our fifth report dealing with NI Budgets, however before now no Budget upon which we have reported was an ‘Executive Budget’.
Today’s publication provides an overview of developments since the 2021 Spending Review and our assessment of the funding and spending position for 2024-25 implied by the Executive’s Budget. We also review potential implications for future years. The Council will discuss this report at the Assembly's Finance Committee on 15 May 2024.
